My host family took me to the coast. It was the first time I saw the Pacific ocean! They rented a nice cabin, almost on the edge of a cliff, overlooking the ocean. It was the perfect place to watch the sun set.
Hearing the waves crashing against the rocks with a violent but smooth roar, feeling the wind softly hitting my face, smelling the fresh iodized scent of the ocean, watching a majestic raptor grazing the grass on the edge of cliff, sitting on that old wooden bench and seeing the red sun disappearing behind the foggy horizon. My fingers were freezing but I didn’t care. I was just enjoying the beauty of the moment.
