My Strengths & Weaknesses

As any human being, I have my strengths and weaknesses.

One thing that is obvious is that woman are a tiny minority in the audio industry. It is hard for us to make a difference, to prove ourselves. I guess this is my biggest weakness in my job right now but that doesn’t discourage me. I see it as my biggest strength as well.

I’m very optimistic and positive-thinking. It’s important to be in the right mindset to live a healthy and happy life. I realized that I make artists and my co-workers comfortable around me. I’m always trying to send the best vibes I can. I’m also well organized in my work and good at time management; I’d rather be early than late. This sometimes pushes me to put some pressure on the people I work with when I feel we may not finish in time.

Moreover, I tend to be a perfectionist. I want my work to be the best I can make it. On some projects, I’m so driven that I am being too hard on myself when I don’t reach the goal I set for myself. On the other hand, when everything goes as planned, it encourages me to go further and set my goals higher.

I do believe there is always room for improvement in everything we undertake; nobody is perfect. I just want to be the best version of myself that I can be.
